About the role
As a Business Development Manager at Mesh & Myth, you will identify meaningful opportunities, build trusted relationships, and connect ambitious businesses with brand, website, and digital infrastructure solutions that support their growth. This role is for someone who can think strategically, communicate with confidence, understand client needs, and help shape the studio’s presence across industries and global markets.
What you'll do
- Identify, research, and qualify potential clients across target industries, including technology, SaaS, professional services, recruitment, healthcare, education, logistics, real estate, and growing SMBs.
- Build relationships with founders, CEOs, business owners, managing partners, COOs, marketing leaders, and other key decision-makers.
- Manage outbound outreach through LinkedIn, email, calls, directories, referrals, and other business development channels.
- Understand client challenges related to branding, websites, digital credibility, lead generation, and infrastructure management, then connect them with the right Mesh & Myth services.
- Maintain CRM records, track pipeline activity, schedule discovery calls, support proposal creation, and collaborate with internal teams to move opportunities forward.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, sales, client acquisition, partnerships, account management, or a similar growth-focused role.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to understand business problems and connect them to branding, website, creative, digital, or technology solutions.
- Strong ownership, discipline, follow-up habits, CRM hygiene, commercial awareness, and confidence in speaking with senior decision-makers.
Good to have
- Experience selling creative services, branding, website design, digital marketing, SaaS, IT services, consulting, recruitment, or professional services.
- Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, Instantly, ZoomInfo, Cognism, Cal.com, Calendly, or similar platforms.
- Exposure to international markets such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, or India.
- Ability to conduct basic website audits and identify gaps in brand positioning, user experience, messaging, credibility, and conversion flow.
- Experience working with startups, SMBs, staffing firms, professional services companies, technology companies, or founder-led businesses.
